Hello Mr. Cruzat,
I am a journalism student at Nothwestern University outside of Chicago, and I am writing an article about minority drownings and diversity in swimming. I was hoping to speak with you about your experiences and insights. Several of my sources have referred me to the Diversity in Aquatics site
Unfortunately, I am on a very tight deadline. Is there any chance I could speak with you this weekend? I would really appreciate it!
I can be reached via email at katherinedriessen@u.nothwestern.edu or by phone at 443 812 3702.
Thanks again for any assistance that you might be able to offer.

Hi, John! I just wanted to send a brief note of to thank you again for assisting us with the "WaterLine Teens: Keeping Heads Above Water" video project. You might be interested in knowing that I reserved the last spot in the video for you. Just finished drafting the script today and will do the final shooting this weekend, with post-production completed by April 21. I'm really excited about this project and am looking forward to another award-winner. Peace and blessings and thanks again, My Brother!
Hey John,
Thanks you for attending and speaking at our 2009 April Pools Day! I hope you had a good time. I know that both our parents and kids learned a lot from your presentations. Good to see you again, let’s keep in touch.

John, great to see you again this weekend. I'll be in Denver/Boulder visiting my brother from April 17 - 20th, so if you get up to that area then, drop me a line.
Hi, Mr. Cruzat I told you I would google you. I am the parent of the up and coming real estate agent. I didn't get a chance to thank you for your time and words of encouragement. The next time you come to VA I will be a member of the swim world, even if it means getting my hair wet:) Keep up the good work and thank you all again for what you are doing for the communities.
Thanks so much for joining us for April Pools Day! It was great to finally meet you and I look forward to spending more time with you in the future! You did a great job today speaking to the parents and your points hopefully hit home with our attendees. Thanks again, John!
I sincerely thank you for introducing me to the sport! I love seeing our people exploring new possibilities. I honor the work you are doing for the sport and communities of color. If I can help in any way, just let me know!!
Hi John,
I am a Mother of a 9 year old young swimmer. this is his first year swimming on a competative team. I would love assistance with linking with a group in my area that helps minority swimmers. My son, CJ is an absolute fan of Cullen Jones. He would like to be a part of Make a Splash. Can you a summer swimming program in the Philadelahia area. I would like to sponsor a Make a Splash Program too. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Hi John: The Aquatic Program in Philadelphia is taking a drastic hit. The City of Philadelphia Department of Recreation has proposed cutting 68 of 81 pools. We want to form a Delaware Valley Aquatic Council to include all aquatic sports. At present swimming doesn't have the clout to overrule the City. Can you help with funding ideas and organizational help? Any idea's would be appreciated.
